Uday Pande is the Founding Partner of N+U Design Studio and has led the firm since its inception. With a clear vision and strong leadership, he has guided the practice to become a nationally recognized design studio with a diverse portfolio across both private and public sectors.

His expertise in government norms and policies across states has enabled the firm’s extensive presence throughout India. Under his leadership, N+U Design Studio has grown into a multidisciplinary practice, offering Architecture, Urban Planning, Interior Design, MEP, and HVAC services under one roof.

A mentor and strategist, Mr. Pande fosters a culture of responsibility and high standards within the team, ensuring timely and quality-driven project delivery.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from VNIT, Nagpur, and a Master’s in Urban & Regional Planning from SPA, New Delhi. Before founding N+U Design Studio in 1992, he worked with MMRDA, DDA, and led ECMC Design Group.

Nivedita Pande is a Founding Partner at N+U Design Studio, where she has played a pivotal role in leading the design team across a wide spectrum of projects -from conceptualization to intricate detailing. Her extensive experience and design sensibility have enabled the firm to address complex client requirements with clarity and to deliver refined, elegant solutions.

Her early professional tenure with Development Authorities has provided her with deep expertise in master planning and site design, with a particular focus on circulation efficiency and the harmonious interrelationship of activities and land uses. Alongside her practice, she has also contributed to academia as a visiting faculty member at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

Mrs. Pande earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering (now VNIT), Nagpur in 1978, followed by a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. Her career began with the Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority, Mumbai, after which she served a significant nine-year tenure at the Delhi Development Authority. In 1992, she co-founded Nivedita & Uday Pande Consultants with Mr. Uday Pande, with N+U Design Studio emerging as its design arm.

Beyond architecture and planning, Mrs. Pande is also a renowned painter. She has exhibited widely and has received recognition from AIFACS, the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation (PDAF), and WADE Asia. Her work was also showcased at the London Art Biennale 2023.
